Le Toison d’Or becomes finalist for best residential development for the Mipim awards

The 50,421 sqm 9-storey mixed-use Le Toison d’Or development provides 13,229 sqm of retail space, including a 9-metre high glass-enclosed Apple Store, and 16,928 sqm of high-end housing comprising 71 condominium units as well as 12 social housing units and a crèche. These residences are the first newly built residential units created along the Toison d’Or Avenue in over fifty years in uptown Brussels. The design of Le Toison d’Or aims at creating a link between the chaotic mix of mid- and low-rise urban city blocks at a major retail and entertainment crossroad. The organic forms of the huge V-shaped portals along the façades create a linking element between the lower retail levels and the residential levels above. The overall architectural gesture is an contemporary reinterpretation of the Art Nouveau Style which made Brussels famous on the architectural scene. Articulated around a vast landscaped garden accessible to the occupants of the residences, Le Toison d’Or also provides in the basement 146 private and 156 public parking spaces Developed by ProWinko, Le Toison d’Or has been designed by UNStudio and Jaspers-Eyers Architects.

Warsaw Spire : tallest tower of Warsaw in final phase of construction

Warsaw, October the 16th 2015 – Warsaw Spire, the tallest building and new landmark of Warsaw, is now being finalized. On the occasion of the royal visit of King Philippe of Belgium this week, project developer Ghelamco and architectural practice Jaspers-Eyers Architects have announced that the tower should be completed by May 2016. The tower measures 220 meters and is part of a project of a total gross building area of 196,243 square metres.

Hoogste toren van Warschau is realisatie van twee Belgische spelers: Jaspers-Eyers Architects en Ghelamco

Warschau, 13 oktober 2015 – In het kader van het staatsbezoek aan de Republiek Polen heeft de Belgische delegatie de ‘Warsaw Spire’ bezocht. De nieuwe toren, tevens de hoogste in Warschau, kwam tot stand door een volledig Belgische samenwerking: architectenbureau Jaspers-Eyers Architects ontwierp de toren en bouwpromotor Ghelamco nam de ontwikkeling voor zijn rekening. “De Warsaw Spire is het bewijs dat er voor Belgische bedrijven zeer interessante opportuniteiten zijn in de groeiende Poolse economie,” zegt John Eyers, CEO van Jaspers-Eyers.

Varsovie, 13 octobre 2015 – Dans le cadre de la visite d’Etat dans la République de Pologne, la délégation belge a visité « Warsaw Spire ». Cette toute nouvelle tour, la plus haute de Varsovie, est le résultat d’une collaboration 100% belge : Jaspers-Eyers Architects a dessiné les plans de la tour, et le promoteur immobilier Ghelamco s’est chargé du développement. « Warsaw Spire montre bien que l’économie polonaise recèle beaucoup d’opportunités pour les entreprises belges, » explique John Eyers, CEO de Jaspers-Eyers.
